Pharmacy Reference Library (PRL)

The Community Pharmacy Foundation (CPF) and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) announce their collaborative efforts in creating the Pharmacy Reference Library (PRL). The PRL has been established as a resource listing of relevant articles, documents websites and resources focused on community pharmacy practice.

The following items are available within the PRL:

Completed Grants
This section contains links to study or project materials of grants funded through the Community Pharmacy Foundation and the Center for Community Pharmacy Practice.

In the News
The In the News section contains links to websites that contain important information as it relates to the field of pharmacy and regulatory issues.

Medication Therapy Management
This section contains links to websites for information and resources specific to medication therapy management services.

Pharmacy Topics
The Pharmacy Topics section contains links to various disease state / therapeutic area articles and resources. The articles will consist of peer-reviewed pharmacy related journal abstracts or references demonstrating the impact of pharmacists in the healthcare setting.

The articles in the Pharmacy Topics section will contain information in three distinct types.
    1. Full PDF version of the article (some websites require free registration)
    2. Abstract only
    3. Reference only

Many of these articles contain the email address of the author, so additional information may be obtained directly from the author.

Additionally, the Resources section will contain information for the following three categories.
    1. Professional organizations
    2. Pharmacist materials
    3. Patient materials

Frequently Asked Pharmacy/Pharmacist Questions
The Frequently Asked Questions section contains information related to frequently asked questions regarding topics for pharmacists and pharmacy related information.
