Description: This proposal is a multi-case analysis of innovative pharmacy practices that have disrupted/innovated by developing new practice/payment models. Key informants (owners and founders) of the innovative practice/payment models will be interviewed using a consistent process to develop a standardized case report. Case reports will be written and released serially to ensure timely dissemination of results. The goal is to complete six (6) case reports in twelve months. In addition to the case reports, practice tools will be developed to guide pharmacists to perform an environmental scan of their market along to identify potential gaps/opportunities to implement the new practice/payment model. Along with the environmental scan, a tool to consistently and systematically evaluate each opportunity will be developed. Grant Objectives: 1. Identity innovative pharmacy practices that have disrupted/innovated by developing new practice/payment models 2. Interview the founders of these innovative practice/payment models to identify key components of the model to develop a brief case report. 3. Describe the innovative practice/payment models to support adoption. 4. Disseminate results for each case study serially 5. Develop practice tools to help pharmacists perform an environmental scans of their market and a guide to assist them in evaluating opportunities.
